email etiquette/ netiquette
1. Email is written communication and can be used in a court of law
2. Assume there is no formatting in email, as you cannot control how the other person receives your information
3. Using all capital letters is like YELLING!
4. Even though email is a more casual form of communication, be careful with things like spelling - it is still important how you present yourself, especially if this is a first impression.
5.Learn your email program, use subject lines and keep to the threads (easier for reader to delete, file, read later), and don't copy whole strings of messages in replies. Clip, snip only critical comments.
